Feeding two tamed horses golden apples or golden carrots activates love mode, causing them to mate and produce a foal. The foal appears more spindly than adult horses and grows to full size with time. The foal can be fed to make it mature faster.

Depending on the variations of the parent horses, the offspring can be one of several types.

  • Bred with a horse: Breeding two horses produces a horse foal. Usually, the new foal has the color and markings of one of its parents, although there is a 13/45 chance of having a random color/markings (which may still end up being the same as one of the parents).
  • Bred with donkey: Cross-breeding a horse with a donkey creates a mule foal. Mules cannot breed. This unlocks the Artificial Selection achievement.
lama breeding

Tamed llamas can be bred by being fed 1–3 hay bales. Both parents must be tamed before they can breed. Trader llamas cannot breed‌[Bedrock Edition only].

The offspring takes on the appearance of either parent randomly. It's strength is chosen as a random integer between 1 and the strength of the stronger parent, inclusive. 3% of the time the resulting strength is increased by 1, but it is capped at 5.

Hello r/feedthebeast! If I had to pick a mod to say that it's my best mod, I'll choose TiC with no doubts. I used it a lot and I wanted to share my experience in it with you, so here's a list of my TiC stuff!

  • Hammer - My hammer is made to tunnel at Y=10-ish to get a metric shitload of ores and kinda infinite stone/marble/whatever you need. I decided to build it to have a LOT of durability and an easy way to repair!

    • Destroyer of Worlds MkVI (had some death problems and rework of the tool u.u)

    • Paper Hammer Head (them ez repairs and +1 modifier)

    • Cobalt Plate (mining speed, Reinforced II and great durability)

    • Ardite Plate (mining speed, Stonebound and great durability)

    • Manyullyn Tough Rod (enormous durability and great handle modifier)

    • Modifiers : Diamond (dura and up mining level to obsi), Emerald (+50% dura), Silky (Silk Touch Hammer <3) and then max Redstone in the left modifiers (including additional ones)

  • Pickaxe - This pickaxe is here for only 2 things : the Nether Ores (Cobalt and Ardite) and to break the ores I mined with my hammer.

    • I'm Here for the Nether MkV (I die a lot.)

    • Cobalt Pickaxe Head (nice dura, mining speed and the mining level we need)

    • Paper Binding (+1 modifier)

    • Thaumium Tool Rod (+1 modifier and great handle modifier, if you don't use Thaumcraft, go for Manyullyn, extra dura)

    • Modifiers : Luck (up to the 450 cap, Fortune III), Diamond (+500 durability), Obsidian Plate (Reinforced II) x2 and then max redstone (with additional modifiers)

  • Rapier - The rapier is my weapon of choice, hitting like a truck and piercing armor.

    • Kuroyume MkVI (well...)

    • Manyullyn Sword Blade (best material for weapons IMO)

    • Paper Crossbar (+1 modifier)

    • Thaumium Tool Rod (+1 modifier)

    • Modifiers : Luck (up to 450, looting III) and then max Quartz (with additional modifiers), making it hit like a truck, 11,5 hearts of damage, +22 attack :D

  • Lumber Axe - Lumber Axe is simply my tool to gather wood, extremely useful as it takes out most trees in one-hit.

    • Trees? (brand new tool and little joke)

    • Cobalt Broadaxe Head (best speed, nice dura, Reinforced II)

    • Ardite Plate (great dura and speed and Stonebound)

    • Paper Tough Binding (+1 modifier)

    • Manyullyn Tough Rod (best dura and nice modifier)

    • Modifiers : didn't add any yet but it will be like : Diamond, Emerald, Luck III and Redstone/Obsi Plates

  • Excavator - Very nice tool for Terraforming purpose and general dirt/sand/whatever gathering.

    • The Creusator (coming from the french verb "creuser" which means "dig")

    • Cobalt Excavator Head (best mining speed)

    • Ardite Plate (Stonebound and dura)

    • Paper Tough Binding (+1 modifier)

    • Manyullyn Tough Rod (dura and handle modifier)

    • Modifiers : Didn't add any yet but it will be : Silky (picking up grass and stuff), Diamond, Emerald and a lot of Redstone/Obsi Plates
